We all love creating fan fiction for our favorite characters. Some people create fan fiction for television characters. Others create romantic stories for video game characters. Still, other people like to create entire alternate narratives for movies. Here at Super Spiritual, we understand the desire to change characters to be more like you or even to simply be more interesting. We also understand the desire to make those ideas known far and wide. That is where this little contest comes in.

Super Spiritual hosts a 30 minute segment once a week on the radio station The Life. During that 30 minute segment, the content developers of Super Spiritual discuss the comic books, religion, and how comics are being affected by (and affecting) America as a whole. Part of our little segment is reading off some of the suggestions that YOU submit on this website. Of course, since we only have 30 minutes, not many suggestions can be read, so only the best will make it on the show. The Life has stations all across the nation, spanning from the deserts of Texas to the shores of Jersey, and everywhere in between. In fact, this radio station has stations in over 40 different states, including Hawaii and Alaska! This means that there is a very high possibility that someone important in the comic book industry will hear your suggestion, and may even implement it. Of course, we cannot make any promises, but we can assure you that your idea will be broadcast in 43 different states.

Specifically, we are looking for possible religions of current comic book characters. What would make sense in your mind for a particular super hero (or villain) to believe? or Would it simply be interesting to see a particular religious take on a comic book hero? Tell us your ideas and why you think they should be tried out, and if they are some of the best, we will put them on our show!

The Criteria

• Must include the name of an EXISTING super hero or villain
• Can either be a real world religion, or one you create
  • If you create a religion, you must explain what the religion believes, any common practices, and any other pertinent information
• Must include an explanation of why that religion would be good for that hero or villain
• Must include the effects of that particular religion on that hero. Tell us what would happen if that hero or villain suddenly converted
• Keep in mind, the more details you give, the better
